What is a Series in Google Sheets?

How to Add a Number Series
Step 1: Enter the Initial Numbers

- Enter the initial values of your custom series. For example, type
Mondayin cell A1 andTuesdayin cell A2.
Step 2: Select the Cells and Use the Fill Handle
- Select the cells containing your custom series.
- Drag the Fill Handle to the desired range.
Using the AutoFill Feature
Step 1: Enter the Initial Value
- Type the starting value of your series in a cell. For example, type

Step 2: Select the Cell and Use AutoFill
- Click on the cell containing the initial value.
- Hover over the Fill Handle until it turns into a crosshair.
- Click and drag the Fill Handle down or across the cells.
